Today is one of those days when Google updates the Toolbar PageRank. It’s one of the factors that helps Google to determine how to rank a Website. In history it had a lot of importance, but over time it lost quite some strength.
PageRank is a number from 1-10. Where 10 is best and 0 is worst. Good sites come with pagerank 4 or more in my opinion. authority sites start at 6 and up. Only a handful of sites have a rank of 10 which is perfect. My was 6 since the last update.
There are various tools to check your future PageRank update. Here are some i use:

You also have to know, that these tools only work when you see on forums a CONFIRMED PageRank update meaning the update really is happening.

i have noticed changes too http://googlebugs.com have also got results and stats showing that the update is underway this month it has to be as this is the longest wait on update(6 months)
