We all know how troublesome image resizing can be. High quality prints need high quality resolution pictures and resizing these looses a lot of image info.
Well this new technique isn’t using scaling or cropping, it’s named retargeting and works like a wonder. Here’s a video from Siggraph that can explain it visually better:
Just imagine the possibilities with this software! Alll the panoramas you can make… amazing! I wonder what the price would be

Retargetting is quite new term and i think this is something which includes both cropping and resizing of image.
