Equipment i use: Nikon D80
This is a Nikon D80 review based on a newbie point of view ![]()
I got my Nikon D80 digital camera about a week ago and i must say i’m impressed with it. I know that i’m still learning photography, but with those digital camera books i’ve read and this slr camera i’m learning really fast. The Nikon D80 is really easy to use and learning the basics is easy and fast.
I like the menu a lot because it has a help button for every setting and that one tells you what exactly which setting means and does. Very useful if you’re starting to learn photography. I bought my Nikon D80 with the 18/135mm lens which will be put into good use until i learn all the basics and go to the next level of photography skills.
Before i bought the D80 i thought of maybe buying the D40x which has a lover price, but there aren’ some functions and options available like the D80 has. Also the Nikon D80 is bigger, but still smaller then the D70 version, so i wouldn’t be able to hold D40x it the right way i should. I have big hands and the little finger would be in air. So the D80 digital SLR camera was the perfect choice for me.
another thing i also like about Nikon is that it has it’s buttons right where you need them. All of them are located at the point, where you can push them with your finger while still holding the camera for shooting and looking through the viewfinder focus.
I’ve also joined flickr and will be posting there my photos ![]()
