Bret, if you got a 50mm 1.8 or similar lens, you can use it as a macro lens too. You just need to turn it around Check flickr for photo samples.

Very nice, but you’ll still need a macro lens to go with the studio. However, it’s still a great light studio for 5e! (just not a macro one)

This is a very inovative idea nad your results are pretty good. This reminds me of the time I tried to come up with a method of using a camera instead of a scanner for photogrpahig books to be OCRed
