Free music ringtones

I have to say that i am a real ringtone freak. I really like to collect ringtones and then exchange them with my friends. That is also the reason why i bought a 2Gb sony memory stick pro for my Sony Ericsson w810. But it’s really hard to find some free music ringtones. But why is that?

Well in my opinion music ringtones are mostly licensed ones which means if you want to play it, you have to pay some fee or something. There are also some free music ringtones though. They are free because they have bad quality or are time limited. Very good quality and free music ringtones are the ones that were made for promotion.

In example let’s take the new hit from Busty Rhymes - Touch it. The company makes a ringtone version of this song because it’s very popular and gives it for free. The music ringtone is shared by the users and a lot of people have it. The benefit i see in this is that a lot of people will hear the song, even those that didn’t hear it before. Then they will want to have the whole song and a lot of them will even buy the Busta Ryhmes music CD.

getting free music ringtones this way is good for us. But it isn’t for people who want to make money out of ringtones since this is their business and they want to get paid. I will try to find some cheap sites and good ones for downloading ring tones, maybe even some free ones and i will review the ones that i am using now. They are pretty good though andalso have a option to buy a membership and have unlimited free downloads. So much for today
