One of the things every designer can do, either to get hid name out, get exposure, show off his work or even make some money, are the T-Shirt selling sites. There are some very well known like Threadless and there is a new one called Desired Hearts.
The one thing i really like about them is that they are giving away $2 from each T-shirt they sold to charity.Why would someone do something like this? Because it’s a right thing to do. It’s also a nice thing for the brand name since it brings lots of good points to them. The site is still in beta and it needs some help from you too.
Even if you don’t do illustrations, you should check out their site, because they have a really good behind the scenes video on how they did some of the photos used for promotion of the site. This is a really good way to attract people for them and to learn something new for you. A win/win situation.
