5+1 formula for writing news

Stumble it! - January 23, 2007

A lot of bloggers write news on varios topics on a daily basis. Writing news is a bit different from writing ordinary news or a diary. There are some rules about this, and one of them is called the 5+1 formula. For a perfect news mesagge, you need to answer on five questions which are: who?, what?, where?, when? and why?

This way, you will form a perfectly designed message. These questions are also called “five double W” because of the same letter they start with.?Now the +1 is there for the basic appearance of the news article and it’s intention is to answer on the question how? Now the news is as it should be written.

This is very useful and important and will help you make better news articles for your readers. And not just that, you wil totaly satisfy their news appetite, which will help that they bookmark your blog and come again next time when they are hungry for more.
